Call for papers: N-AERUS 2008 Workshop, Edinburgh, 12 December 2008  


SECURING POSITIVE CHANGE IN INTERNATIONAL URBAN POVERTY REDUCTION POLICIES:
Is international action changing urban poverty on the ground or not?

DATE AND VENUE:
The event will take place at Dez 12th 2008 at the Centre for Environment and Human Settlements School of the Built Environment Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh. Dr Harry Smith will be hosting the conference.

COSTS:
No registration fee accompanies attendance of the conference. Refreshments and a light lunch will be served during the workshop courtesy of the School of the Built Environment, Heriot-Watt University.

ACCOMMODATION:
Details on accommodation will be provided on the conference Website.

ABSTRACTS:
Deadline for submitting abstract is Monday, 16th June 2008 by 12AM. The leght of the abstract should be not more than 300 words (not more please). You should submit the abstract to the address calls@n-aerus.net.

Authors of the selected papers will be notified by e-mail by Monday, 07 July 2008. Final papers should be submitted by Monday, 17th August 2008 and will be posted on the N-AERUS website.

The abstracts should contain: 1) The title of your presentattion 2) Up to five short keywords 3) The major goals of your presentation (what do you want to achieve?) 4) Context and relation to the conference thopic ? e.g. to one of the specific subtheme (To which 'state of the art' and which 'gaps' does Your research relate?) 5) Approach and Methodology (Which methods and techniques do you use?) 6) Structure of Your presentation (How do you structure your arguments?) 7) Author's name and contact address
